Register images and protect copyright

If you mainly work with images, that is, you design, photograph, illustrate, regularly create new works and store gigabytes of copyrighted works, then it is more convenient to use Art Cloud. You pay for a subscription for the opportunity to regularly upload all your works to a single repository with the possibility to get a certificate for any uploaded object when needed. This feature will be especially relevant for sellers on marketplaces, where there is very high competition and unscrupulous sellers often use photos of someone else's product. Art Cloud operates on the principle of file storage — it can be used as a storage for the author's portfolio, with the possibility of sending a link to potential clients and customers. Only images can be uploaded to the Art Cloud, while electronic deposit allows you to obtain a certificate for any intellectual property object: a song, a book, an online course, the source code of the program, and so on without the possibility of sharing them with third parties.

Art Cloud online service is not designed for storage but for protecting copyright on images. Uploading files to the storage acts as a form of pre-depositing: the author uploads the images to Art Cloud in advance, and the certificate of deposit is generated when needed, with the deposit date on the certificate reflecting the file’s upload date, not the date of certificate generation. For example, a designer uploaded illustrations in February 2023, and a year later, one of their works was used without permission, requiring proof of copyright ownership. The designer can obtain a certificate of deposit for the specific illustration that was used, with the document showing the date and time when the file was first uploaded, in this case, February 2023. The images are uploaded to a secure virtual storage where the date and time of upload are recorded. Transaction information is logged into IPCHAIN intellectual property rights blockchain infrastructure, making the data impossible to alter or falsify. The author can obtain a certificate of deposit for any uploaded file, and in case of a dispute, the document will help confirm the authorship of the work. The certificate includes the author’s name, the date and time of the upload, a unique identifier, and the OriginStamp electronic digital signature. In addition, unlike traditional cloud storage, Art Cloud allows users to securely share their work and generate a special link for viewing and downloading. QR codes can be added to the shared files, containing information about the object, authorship, and upload date. This feature is particularly relevant for those who want to send a portfolio or a test assignment to a potential client but are concerned about copyright infringement.

The appearance and the information provided in the certificate issued during digital deposit or by Art Cloud are identical and hold equal legal force. However, in Art Cloud, unlike the deposit process, you can select a specific image from hundreds previously uploaded, while in the digital deposit process, you receive a certificate for a single specific object that was placed in a digital cell.

Outdated images in the storage can be deleted and replaced with new ones. Each time you upload a new object to the storage, authorship will be recorded: upload data is saved in the IPCHAIN blockchain registry

In case of disputes, for each image uploaded to the secure Art Cloud storage, you can receive a document confirming the right - a certificate of deposit with a digital signature and a date and time stamp of an accredited certification center. This document can be presented as an argument with a demand to remove pirated content and serves as additional confirmation of authorship in the event of disputes, even in court.
